Career/ Clubs : Started playing basket-ball at 15. Played for Crossing- Canter and reached 3rd dvision, 2nd division and also 1st division with his Brussel’s team. Played for Leuven (3rd division) later. Was a member of the Belgian League of Basket-ball, representing BC Leuven, in the late eighties and the early nineties; BLB’s President from 1993 to 1998 (3rd President, following Rudolph Van Moerkerke (Oostende) and Carlos Sierens (Gent)); Member of the Team Belgian Lions representing Eric Somme (Spirou Basket) in 1998. Became Belgian Lion’s Manager in 2002

Awards : EuroBasket 2011 (Top 16’s qualification – later FIBA Europe invited 24 teams) – EuroBasket 2013. Eurobasket 2015. Only Belgian Manager with back-to-back-to-back qualification

Belgian Lions :  1st game as Lion’s Manager on November 20th, 2002 in Liège : Belgium – Griekenland 59-92; 1st victory, four days later in Tel Aviv : Israël – Belgium 66-67. 179 games (28 with Giovanni Bozzi as Head Coach – 151with Eddy Casteels as Head Coach)
