Today is the first day of action for the U16 Boys. Coach Vincent Bouffioux and his squad are competing in the B-division of the tournament, which takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

24 countries are participating in the tournament, divided into 4 groups of 6 teams each. Belgium is playing in group C in the First Round, together with Georgia, Belarus, Hungary, Switzerland and Luxemburg.

The top 2 teams of each group will advance to the Quarter Finals, as the other teams will play classification games for places 9-16 and 17-24.
