Coach Mestdagh has cut his selection from 16 to 14 players in anticipation of the friendly games against Holland and Finland on November 18, 20 and 21. Emmanuelle Mayombo (23, 1m72, SG, Belfius Namur) and Manon Grzesinski (20, 1m84, F, Mithra Castors Braine) will leave the team that continues to prepare for the qualification game against Belarus on November 25th.

Both players will stay at disposal for future qualification rounds.

« We have to make tough some decisions. » coach Mestdagh said. « Both players showed a lot of enthousiasm and motivation at practice. Manu is doing a great job in her club and Manon might play less minutes in Castors, but her attitute in practice has always been first class. I’ve explained to both of them that this isn’t a definitive exit for them. » 

Two more players will have to be cut before the first qualification game in Minsk on November 25th. Belgium will host Holland on Wednesday (16h00) in Hall Octave Henri in Namur.
