A heartbreaker for U20 Girls

It was a double loss for the Belgium U20 Girls on wednesday. Not only did Italy beat our team at the buzzer, we also lost the ticket into the Quarter Finals of the tournament.

As Italy prevailed and marched into the Quarter Finals, Belgium is set to play for places 9-16 in the upcoming days.

U20 Boys win twice, go against France next

The U20 Boys started their tournament with a much needed win against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first win for Belgium in the A-division in 15 years. It was even more history in the making as Paul Vervaeck’s squad also defeated host country Italy two days later.

Up next is France, who are also undefeated after two games. Belgium will have to finish top 4 in the First Round to advance to the Second Round.
